"Shipping fees" are typically established based on the "purchaser's address" at the time of product purchase. However, in the case of e-gifts, the shipping fee is established based on the recipient's address without inputting the delivery address during purchase completion.

It is challenging to apportion the fees beforehand on a regional basis, therefore, it is necessary to set the shipping fees uniformly for e-gift purposes.

Please note that Shopify does not allow for shipping fees to be requested later, hence the above specifications. If this setting is not completed, shipping fees will be determined based on the purchaser's address as in a typical purchase scenario, meaning that there may be cases where your company makes a profit and cases where you incur a loss, depending on the purchaser's address.

About AnyGift e-Gift Shipping Fee Settings

  1. A uniform e-gift shipping fee is set for all products and all delivery methods.

Example: If the shipping fee was set to be 1,000 yen for Tokyo and 1,500 yen for Okinawa in a typical purchase, you can set the e-gift shipping fee to 1,300 yen from the average or median, or to the maximum value of 1,500 yen.

In this case, the difference that arises will become your company's profit.

  1. Setting e-gift shipping fee for free

When you receive an "e-gift order" of a specified amount or more, you can set the shipping fee to be free. Example: If you receive an e-gift order of 5,000 yen or more, the shipping fee set in 1 will become free.

  1. E-gift shipping fee setting based on product

By specifying the "product tag" or "seller", the e-gift shipping fee for that product will be the specified amount.

Example: Products with the tag "frozen delivery" will have an e-gift shipping fee of 1,500 yen.

※ Does not apply the e-gift shipping fee set in 1.

Therefore, the following is possible.

The uniform delivery fee for e-gift is set at 300 yen.

For refrigerated products, the delivery fee for e-gift is 500 yen.

For frozen products, the delivery fee for e-gift is 1000 yen.
